QTPoC Resource Fund

The Queer and Trans Students of Color Resource Fund was established to provide QTPoC students with an additional source of funding to support the professional development or conference needs of QTPoC students.

The QTPoC Support Fund is a fund provided by the LGBTQ Center dedicated to supporting LGBTQ students of color. Applications are reviewed by a committee of queer and/or trans students of color with an understanding of the unique needs of their peers. Students may apply to the fund to put on events and programs or professional development (attending a conference, books not related to coursework, etc).

This fund is a limited amount and is carefully allocated to fall within requirements of the College.

Your application will be received by the director and shared with the student Interns in the LGBTQ Center. The Interns will share their recommendations with the director, who will respond to applicants, letting them know the decision regarding their application, and facilitate the process if funding is allocated.  Once the QTPoC Board is established, the board will replace the Interns in the review process and will review requests, make recommendations regarding the request, and respond to and follow up with applicants.

**Applicants who receive funds will be asked to provide a short reflection on how the Fund helped to enrich or impact their experience. This helps to document the impact of the Fund over time.**
